Howdy RVer!
Welcome back to your consolidated view of RV information for the week.
Is it just me or does it feel like summertime still in certain places? We made it to Nashville, TN and are almost down to Florida for the winter. We were rudely awakened back to humidity! It had been so pleasant in the West; but that’s okay, we’ll take the warmer temperatures!
On another note, we saw some fuel prices dropping in certain areas of the country. It’s not enough to make a significant impact, but hopefully the trend will continue.
Until next week!

ORANGE BEACH, AL
Why We Love It
Personally, I’m not a fan of how large Sun Outdoors has become and the leverage they have on pricing. However, they have acquired some beautiful properties that we stayed at before Sun acquired them and still love them just as much.
One of our absolute favorites was Pandion Ridge, which is now Sun Outdoors Orange Beach.
They recently completed an addition to the property and now have even closer access to Gulf Shores State Park. While we have not stayed in the new area, it was under construction the last time we stayed there.
This is a must-stay if you’re in this area!

Man dies after being trapped in fiery RV at Stickney gas station; 2 others injured
There was a major response in Stickney Wednesday afternoon after an RV caught fire at a gas station.
At about 3 p.m., police and fire crews along with the State Fire Marshal responded to Gas-N-Wash fueling station, located at 3800 S. Cicero, for a large fire.
“The flames were probably 20 feet in the air,” said Stickney Fire Chief Jeff Boyajian.
Citizen app video captured the huge flames and black smoke billowing into the air. The RV was parked at one of the gas pumps when the fire erupted.
