Howdy RVer!
Welcome back to your consolidated view of RV information for the week.
And just like that, we’re into fall! It’s wild to think that Labor Day Weekend is already upon us. Do you have anything fun planned for the “last big camping weekend of the year?”
This is our last week in the Glacier National Park area, so we will be doing some final bucket list hikes and driving to Polebridge to see Lake Bowman. We went over to Two Medicine Lake yesterday and enjoyed the views! Glacier will forever have a special place in our hearts 🙂
Until next week!

MYRTLE BEACH, SC
Why We Love It
While we try to stay at independently owned rv parks and campgrounds, every once in a while we will stay at a Sun Outdoors property. Sometimes it’s out of necessity, but often it’s because we liked the property prior to Sun acquiring it. Carolina Pines was one of those properties that we just love! It’s now branded as Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach.
If you’ve been to Camp Margaritaville Auburndale, you’ll see a lot of similar features. That’s because the family that built Camp Margaritaville took a lot of inspiration from Carolina Pines! Pretty cool.
Overall, this property has an incredible amount to do. You can either bring your RV or stay in one of the beautiful onsite cabins.
I could go on forever about how great this property is, but take a quick spin through the website and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about!

Campground Sector Escaped Worst of Hurricane Idalia
While a few of Florida’s campgrounds and RV parks suffered damage from Hurricane Idalia, most parks were relatively unscathed from the storm which made landfall as a Category 3 hurricane at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday (Aug. 30) near Keaton Beach, about 75 miles southeast of Tallahassee.
